Monthly Committee Round Up: July 2025

July was a month filled with engaging discussions and networking opportunities for CanChamHK committees!

📌 Entrepreneur & Small Business Committee

This month, the committee organized a "Members Mentoring Members" event focused on business introductions. Members had the opportunity to present their specialties, enhancing networking and fostering potential business matches. It was a productive evening of collaboration and connection!

📌 Financial Services Committee

The Financial Services Committee hosted a breakfast meeting to introduce new members and discuss key updates. Topics included talent in wealth management, policies to attract more investments to Hong Kong, offshore fund markets, custodian services, and initiatives in Web3 and fintech. The discussions were insightful and forward-looking.

📌 Monthly Business Community Mixer - Future Leaders Edition

We were excited to welcome Young Professionals, summer interns, and CanChamHK members to our exclusive mixer! Everyone networked, met industry peers, and enjoyed a great evening filled with opportunities for connection and collaboration.

📌 Sustainable Development Committee

The Sustainable Development Committee held a meeting featuring guest speaker Professor Ismail Erturk, a Senior Lecturer in PMO Management and Organisation Studies at the University of Manchester. The discussions revolved around challenges such as defining "green" projects, managing greenwashing risks, and balancing sustainability costs versus benefits.

Our Committees provide unparalleled opportunities for gaining high-level insights and industry-specific networking. Members of the Chamber (excluding Affiliate Members) can join these working groups, and all members are welcome to participate.
