UBC Sauder Faculty Advisory Board (FAB) Chair, Warren Spitz (BCom), will be in conversation with Gerald Ma (BCom), a senior member of the CK Group.

Warren Spitz, Founder and CEO, UCS Forest Group

Warren Spitz is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and investor. He is founder and CEO of the Spitz Group of Companies, which includes UCS Forest Group. Actively giving his time to numerous organizations, Warren is currently Chair of the Faculty Advisory Board at the UBC Sauder School of Business and is on the Board of NOW Health Group. Additionally, Warren is a member of the Chief Executives Organization (CEO), Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Entrepreneur’s Circle of the Canada American Business Council (CABC). Previously, Warren served as President of the International Wood Products Association, Board Chair of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival and was on the Board of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). In 2012, Warren was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his work in support of Canadian military families. With his family, in 2015, Warren created the Spitz Fellows Program for Indigenous Women at UBC Sauder.

Gerald Ma, Executive Committee Member & General Manager, Corporate Business Development Department, CK Asset Holdings Limited

Ma Lai Chee, Gerald, Executive Committee Member & General Manager, Corporate Business Development Department, joined the CK Group in February 1996. He is a Non-Executive Director and Manager of ARA Asset Management (Fortune) Limited and manager of ARA Asset Management (Prosperity) Limited, both listed in Hong Kong. He is also an Alternate Director to Mr. Lai Kai Ming, Dominic, Non-Executive Director of Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited (listed in Hong Kong). He has over 34 years of management experience in different industries. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and a Master of Arts degree in Global Business Management. He is a member of the Faculty Advisory Board of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
