Their wisdom and guidance can be applied to various roles and career paths.

We will continue to update this list of Mentors, so stay tuned! This Mentorship Program is open to CanChamHK Members and Non-Members. 

Please note that Mentors listed on this website are not confirmed as this is dependent on the number of  pairings. All Mentors & Mentees are invited to attend the Launch Ceremony (date to be confirmed). They will have a chance to speak with one another and Mentees will submit their Mentor preference after the event.

"Agnes has worked at Manulife in multiple segments and in various functional areas including IT, Operations, Finance, Strategic Initiatives, PMO, and Information Risk. She moved from Canada to Hong Kong about five years ago to take on the AVP, IT & Operations Performance role in the HK CIO/COO Office. She is a leader, mentor and coach with strong communication, analytical and organizational skills. She has a Bachelor degree in Commerce and an MBA as well as the following certifications, Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-Canada), Certified Public Accountant (CPA-U.S.), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Her interests include traveling, golfing, tennis, skiing, architecture, interior design, and urban development."

"Arthur joined CKI in 2022 to originate and execute global infrastructure M&A transactions. He was previously a director at Barclays with 11 years of investment banking experience focused on M&A and capital raising. "

"Carol Yuen is a 3rd generation banker with over 20 years of international financial experience. Carol founded the Alpha Grand Group in Hong Kong in 2017. Prior to founding Alpha Grand Group, Carol held senior positions with a number of international financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Standard Chartered, Citigroup and HSBC Group. Carol has diversified experience in the international financial sector. She has worked in areas including commercial banking; treasury products and structuring in forex, interest rates, commodities, equities; private banking and investment banking. After having accumulated years of banking experience, Carol further expanded into real estate investments and structuring bespoke life insurance policies for ultra-high net worth clients. She has completed over USD 35 billion worth of transactions in aggregate during her career. "

"Celia is a Senior Vice President at Clarion Partners, is a Senior Account Executive within the Client Capital Management group. Celia is based in Hong Kong and is focused on institutional client relationships in the Asia Pacific region. Her experience spans commercial real estate portfolio management, asset management, corporate real estate strategies, research, and development consultancy in North America and Asia. She is also passionate about technology and innovation. Celia holds an MBA at University of Toronto, an EMBA from University of Saint Gallen and Msc. from Southern Illinois University."

"Dan manages, leads, follows, and works alongside everyone while following a simple rule of thumb: Everyone knows something you don’t. He aims to always think critically and logically while listening carefully and compassionately. Dan has been in HK for 11 years having worked in several industries, a large proportion being in education and now in Scotch whisky trading. He grew up in a town called Comox on Vancouver Island, Canada. He plays hockey and golf regularly and played in a handful of bands in his younger years, primarily playing drums and guitar."

He has deep expertise in helping Mentees with managing their careers - from current status to short-term and long-term goals! Derek is originally from Vancouver, Canada, and lives in Hong Kong. He has spent the last 36 years living in a number of Asia Pacific locations: Hong Kong, PRC (Beijing), Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia. His hobbies include skiing, hiking, running, swimming, and staying fit!"

Prior to joining BMO, Fang was the COO at ANZ Bank (China) Co. Ltd. after progressive promotions within ANZ Banking Group in Melbourne, Australia. As the Chief Executive of BMO Hong Kong Branch (Designated), Fang provides leadership and oversight to develop and execute strategy to grow the banking business in the Hong Kong branch. Fang is also passionate about making a positive impact within her community. She is the Executive Ambassador leading BMO Employee Giving Campaign in Asia. Fang is a CPA and has a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Tasmania, Australia."

"Gary is a Canadian, who has been in the insurance industry- risk management - for many years. He has resided and worked in Canada, Bahamas, Singapore, Dubai and Hong Kong. He is a father to a 22-year-old who is currently studying microbiology in Canada. Gary enjoys his current role and when he's not working, he cycles up to 100 kms per week. He is a patron of the Hong Kong ballet and a collector of watches."

HODSON WANG

"Hodson provides risk oversight of all BMO businesses in Asia (excluding China). In addition, Hodson was named Alternate Chief Executive for BMO Hong Kong Branch in March 2021 to assist in the supervision of the Branch’s key businesses, internal controls, and risk management. He has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the Canadian banking industry. Prior to joining BMO, Hodson was based in Singapore as Head of Market Risk for TD Bank. Before relocating to Asia in 2008, he spent 9 years at both TD and Scotiabank in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance & Economics and completed the CFA program and was awarded the CFA charter."

"Jeffrey leads the risk and compliance practice at Protiviti Hong Kong with more than 20 years of regulatory compliance advisory and audit experience. He advises clients on regulatory controls and compliance advisory, internal audit, licensing, operational resilience, FATCA and CRS among other areas of compliance risk management and covers the financial sectors in Hong Kong and China. Since moving to Hong Kong in 2013, he has led a number of regulator-driven projects including health checks, look-backs and remediation exercises. He has helped clients obtain new licenses for wealth and insurance activities and build new operating models including robo-advisory and online investment platforms. Prior to joining Protiviti, Jeffrey was a Partner at KPMG. He was responsible for regulatory, compliance and risk management advisory, internal audit, operational enhancement and performance improvement."

He previously was a Head of Business Development APAC at a data science boutique consultancy - Ekimetrics. Currently, he leads people analytics CoE at H&M Group across three continents and 16 production offices: Hong Kong, Far East Asia (Shanghai, Guangzhou, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam), Indonesia, South Asia & Africa, Europe, and India."
