Jan Sedlacek is the founder and managing partner of Stryber, one of the largest corporate venture builders in the Middle East, Europe and Asia Pacific. Jan Sedlacek combines approaches from the venture capital, start-up and strategy consulting worlds in his work and helps large organisations become future-proof by systematically driving the development of strategic new business areas. Sedlacek has successfully founded and/or scaled dozens of ventures with his organisation and built new business units for his clients.
Before founding Stryber in 2016, Jan Sedlacek gained experience as a start-up founder, C-Level manager, marketer, web designer and in strategy consulting. Among other things, he was part of a travel start-up and transformed a Swiss private bank into the first hybrid bank. Before that, he was a managing director at the tour operator Kuoni, where he was responsible for marketing and innovation, and a management consultant at Roland Berger.
In addition to his expertise in venture building and the digitalisation of companies, the native Swiss brings expertise and education in international management and organisational psychology to his work at Stryber.
