ABOUT THE EVENT

Although COVID-19 has affected countries all over the world, this webinar will take a closer look at the effects of coronavirus on the Canadian community including economic relief measures, PPE sourcing, and immigration and visas.

Join our webinar on Wednesday May 6, 2020 to receive updates on what Canada is doing to help Canadians through coronavirus, and to ask questions of the Consul General, the CanChamHK Chairman and the CanCham Macao Director.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Jeff Nankivell
Consul General
Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong

Mr. Jeff Nankivell became Consul General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macao in August 2016. From 2011 to 2016, Jeff served as Director-General responsible for Canada’s official development assistance in Asia, first with the Canadian International Development Agency and then with Global Affairs Canada. Jeff has been posted three times to the Canadian Embassy in Beijing: in the development assistance section 1991-95 and 2000-2004, and as Deputy Head of Mission (deputy ambassador) 2008-2011. He is fluent in Mandarin. He also held various positions at the Canadian International Development Agency between 1988 and 2008, working on programs related to China, Russia, strategic policy and international financial institutions.

Paul Tse

Paul Tse is the Executive Director of Golden Crown Development Limited. He is also President of The Macau Association of Building Contractors and Developers, and of The Asian Association of Management Organizations. The American Chamber of Commerce Honorary Chairman, Director of The Macau Chamber of Commerce, and member of several Macau SAR Government councils.

Todd Handcock is the Asia Pacific President for Collinson. Todd has over 25 years of regional experience, having lived and worked in Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Collinson, Todd was the APAC and EMEA President for Kognitiv. His former executive roles include APAC Chief Executive Officer and Global Chief Marketing Officer for Williams Lea Tag, APAC Chief Operating Officer for British Telecom; APAC Vice President for Descartes Systems Group; APAC Business Development Director and Indonesia Managing Director for Cott Corporation. In these roles, he drove the opening of new markets and launched several brands in the region.
