About the Event:

Studies have shown that certain types of “play” can help engage children in learning, influence their motivation to learn, improve self-regulation, and focus their attention. In this seminar, the Canadian Chamber has invited Aisling McDonnell, a certified Play Therapist, to share insights on active parenting particularly through effective playing. This event aims to educate parents on optimal types of interactions and interactions to avoid during playtime. Parents will strengthen their understanding towards the children’s inner world of thinking and expressions through playing. This will allow parents to tailor interactions and activities to their children’s strengths, catapulting them in their future endeavors.
