Join The Nomination Committee
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is looking for an individual from our general membership to join the Nomination Committee.
What is the Nomination Committee?
The Nomination Committee works with the Executive Committee (“ExCo”) to identify and recruit potential candidates to fill vacancies within the Executive Committee and Governors' Council.
Who is on the Nomination Committee?
- One (1) CanChamHK member (this could be you!)
- Three (3) Executive Committee Members
- Three (3) Governors' Council Members
Are You...
- Open, honest, impartial, without any conflicts of interest
- Discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
- Familiar with the structure, history, and traditions of CanChamHK
- Energetic and able to commit time for the nominations process (approx 7 - 8 hours in total which includes 3 meetings).

If you are a CanChamHK Member and are interested in serving on the Nomination Committee, please email finance@cancham.org by Tuesday, May 27, 2025 with the following:
- A brief summary of your background and why you wish to participate (200 words max in the body of your email)
- A copy of your resume and/or the link to your LinkedIn profile
The Executive Committee will appoint one general member to the Nomination Committee after evaluating the background of each candidate and will contact them directly.
