To Our Valued Members,
It is my privilege to present this annual update on the activities and strategic direction of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. This report, aligned with our mission and strategic goals, is presented at our Annual General Meeting and made available to all members thereafter.
First and foremost, I extend my sincere gratitude to our members for your steadfast support and active participation. You are the cornerstone of the Chamber's success over the past 48 years. I would like to particularly acknowledge the exceptional contributions of our Governors, Executive Committee, Committee Co-Chairs, and our generous sponsors who also provide their support on our committees, and governorship. A special thanks also to our Executive Director and the secretariat team for their dedication and professional administration.
Our Mission & Value Proposition
Our mission, which remains unchanged for the past 48 years, is to foster commerce between Hong Kong and Canada, connecting our members with opportunities in Hong Kong, Canada, and Asia. We have experienced remarkable growth, with nearly 3,000 members representing 400+ companies in Hong Kong.
Our value proposition lies in delivering services for our members including: business promotion; networking opportunities; brand exposure; representation and advocacy engagement; learning and training; and providing information and insights.
The Annual Report: November 1, 2024 to October 31, 2025
This past year, our Chamber continued its innovative approach and entrepreneurial spirit to actively engage and represent our members on significant matters. This success was made possible by our exceptional leadership teams, our Officers, Executive Committee, Executive Director, and Committee Chairs, and the invaluable support of our Council of Governors. Our dedicated full-time staff played a crucial role in executing key operations. Together, we have effectively served the interests of our business community.
While Hong Kong's continuing economic recovery in very uncertain times, has presented challenges across key sectors, our Chamber has seized the opportunity for revitalization and action. Our main objective is to remain relevant and engaging to our members as we embrace Hong Kong’s role as a "Super Connector," and support members in navigating geo-political, financial, and commercial challenges that present.
