Mentorship Programme
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (CanChamHK) believes it is important to build a platform for young professionals to develop their careers, build a strong business and social network, and provide opportunities to learn across a broad range of topics that have relevance to young professionals today.
The Mentorship Programme aims to develop the business acumen of young professionals by allowing them to learn from the experiences of distinguished professionals and enhance their professional network in Hong Kong.
A structured mentoring programme strives to match experienced business veterans with young professionals for the purpose of building a mentoring relationship based on trust, experience exchange, support and guidance.

THIS YEAR’S MENTORS

TESTIMONIALS
“I’m truly grateful for the mentorship experience. This year we have seen many industries being re-set and the mentorship programme allows both the mentor and mentee to bounce ideas off each other, inspiring each other not just for career growth but also gaining refreshed perspectives of our broader priorities in life. It’s very timely that we have this support network at such challenging times.”
Hon Lam (Season 8 Mentor)
General Manager, Hong Kong & Southern China
Air Canada
“Unsure of what to expect, I greatly appreciated CanCham’s approach to mentor-mentee matching and the events and workshops that make this a well-rounded programme. In addition to an inspiring mentor, there are opportunities to learn from peers and meet the other mentors. You’ll get what you put into it! “
Veronica Schleihauf (Season 8 Mentee)
Human Capital Manager
Eureka Language Services
“It was an honour to be part of the program and a rewarding experience to share my career experience and advice to the mentee. I also found it enriching to discover how the mentee approaches their business and career goals. It was an exchange I valued, as it brought new meaning and a different perspective to my experience. I highly recommend getting involved.”
