The panel will explain how blockchain and smart contracts will decentralize traditional models for real estate transactions, ownership, record keeping, and finance.  Find out where the opportunities are in this disruptive new environment.

Paul Chen is a Director with RealFoundations, a global management consultancy focused in the real estate industry. Paul is also the Honorary Secretary of the CRECCHKI and the International Blockchain Real Estate Association Hong Kong Chapter Chair. Paul has over 20 years of experience within the real estate industry in North America and Asia Pacific, with focus on business transformation, operating model optimization, performance management, technology strategy, and investment/asset management technology solutions. He has worked with global investors, asset managers, operators and developers to build sustainable profitability and scalability for his clients' operating platforms.

 

Torbjorn Dimblad
Chief Technology Officer of OKAY.com

An ardent believer that technology can and should play a transformative role in modern day businesses, Torbjörn brings a unique blend of technical expertise, creativity and innovation to his role as Chief Technology Officer at OKAY.com.
 
With over two decades of experience across Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy and Supply Chain Management, Torbjörn has held key management positions at IBM, BearingPoint and PricewaterhouseCoopers where he forwarded the technological development for global leaders including AT&T and IKEA. 
 
In his most recent role, Torbjörn served as Vice President and Head of Business Systems overseeing the technology strategy for one of the world’s leading shipping and logistics companies Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL). Overseeing an IT budget in the tens of millions of USD and directing the efforts of over 250 staff, Torbjörn was a key driver in evolving enterprise platforms to enhance supply chain efficiency and operational excellence across WWL’s multiple business lines.
 
Born in the UK and raised in Hong Kong, Torbjörn holds a degree in Engineering & Asian Studies from Dartmouth College and has attended Oxford University and Beijing Normal University. He is fluent in both English and Swedish, and proficient in Mandarin and German. An avid rugby player and fan, Torbjörn also enjoys sailing and mountain biking.

 

Adam Stuckert

Adam is a Partner in KPMG China’s IT Advisory practice with 14 years of management and technology consulting experience in Canada, the United States, China, and Hong Kong. He has led several IT transformations, process design initiatives, and strategy projects, and spent over 8 years in the electric utilities sector.
