The AFF brings together the global financial and business communities each year to examine the trends and developments in the dynamic markets of Asia and beyond.  More than 2,600 leaders in government, finance and business from 39 countries and regions took part in the Forum’s eighth edition in January 2015 to gather intelligence, establish connections, and explore business and investment opportunities.

 

AFF 2016 will present participants with a unique platform to exchange insights on Asia’s role in sustaining growth and development in the evolving global economy. The following heavyweight speakers have already been confirmed:

The inaugural Global Investment Summit will be launched at AFF 2016 to examine global investment trends, opportunities and challenges, with particular focus on the implications of the Belt and Road Initiative as well as the continued emergence of outbound investment from mainland enterprises. The Global Investment Zone (showcasing worldwide investment agencies) and the AFF Deal Flow Matchmaking Session (featuring dedicated matching meetings between sources of funds and sources of deals) will also spotlight business and investment opportunities from around the world.

A dedicated session on innovation and disruption, focusing on big data, FinTech and e-commerce, will also be arranged to examine the changing landscape of global finance and business.  Meanwhile, the International Financial Week will return to bring together a series of events covering topical issues in finance, such as Asian private equity, alternative investments, family office and monetary issues.
