- Her background and experience in China can help businesses to integrate into the system e.g. IP issues including patent protection, partnership or other options, structures to protect assets
- There will be sharing of her experience with expansion into China & Asia – which cities, which countries?
*2) “From Hong Kong into Southeast Asia” - Ivan Lam representing LPS, a Lenovo company, will share:
a) from his experience as a startup mentor at the HK Science Park, and as a member of a regional AI industry consortium;
b) How companies leverage Hong Kong as a platform expanding into Southeast Asia, including examples of HK based tech startups (including Canadian) exploring Malaysia as a springboard into other parts of ASEAN and the broader Indo-Pacific region
*3) Julie Labrecque-Page will introduce her experience in Camden.
Her company supports global companies in localising their brands for the Asian market. She is the General Manager Asia, Partner. She will share:

2. Camden aims at having 10 offices globally by 2029 and chose Hong Kong 3 years ago as their APAC hub. How did Camden benefit from its Hong Kong presence and were there any surprises, good or bad, along the way?
The Moderator is Jeff Nankivell, President and CEO, Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada
(In this Panel, we will also introduce a part of the work of Asia Pacific Foundation (APF) Canada according to the theme a “Super Connector”. For example, it provides a variety of networks they support to bring together Canada-connected people, firms and institutions across Asia with counterparts from across Canada, and to create opportunities for new connections to be made, through initiatives such as the Canada-in-Asia Conference series and their data platform on Asia-Canada investment trends.
