We are proud to present the second episode of our Leadership Series of exclusive, one-on-one conversations with prominent and influential business leaders of our community to learn about their companies, their personal successes and challenges, and their outlook on the future.

Dr. Aron Harilela, Chairman & CEO of Harilela Hotels Limited and Immediate Past Chair of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, will sit down with Todd Handcock, Head of the Governors' Council at The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and President Asia Pacific at Collinson. In a lively and wide-ranging  discussion, Aron will share insights on his role as an Icon of Hong Kong’s Business Landscape. Established in 1959, The Harilela Group is a Hong Kong-based private company with extensive experience in hotel investment and management. The Group owns and operates 15 properties across Hong Kong, China, Asia, Europe and the U.S. They recently started their own brand. The Hari, London in August 2016 and The Hari, Hong Kong in December 2020. The Group’s hospitality portfolio includes alliances with The InterContinental Hotels Group, Onyx Hospitality Group and Hyatt Hotels. After the presentation, there will be a live Q&A followed by a networking session.

Dr. Aron Harilela is the Chairman & CEO of Harilela Hotels Limited. Established in 1959 and still wholly owned by the Harilela Family, The Harilela Group is a Hong Kong-based private company with extensive experience in hotel investment and management.  The Group owns and operates 15 properties across Hong Kong, China, Asia, Europe and the U.S. They recently started their own hospitality brand - The Hari, London opened its door in August 2016 and The Hari, Hong Kong launched in December 2020. The Group’s hospitality portfolio includes alliances with The InterContinental Hotels Group, Onyx Hospitality Group and Hyatt Hotels. Aron was the Immediate Past Chair of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and is currently a Governor of the Governors’ Council at The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

​Todd Handcock is President Asia Pacific and a Global Board Member at Collinson, a global leader in travel experiences, loyalty and medical assistance. Todd has over 25 years of experience in the region, holding leadership roles across sales, marketing and operations. He has supported clients in diverse industries including banking, insurance, consumer, retail, travel and hospitality, and has a deep understanding and appreciation for the complex challenges faced by businesses in today’s rapidly evolving landscape. Prior to joining Collinson, Todd was President Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific for Kognitiv Corporation and before that he held senior leadership roles with Williams Lea Tag and BT Global Services. Todd is the Immediate Past Chairman and Current Head of the Governors’ Council of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

4. Attendees must scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” QR code at the entrance on 1/F using the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app. This is a mandatory requirement by the government for all zones operating under Group D operation regulations.

Cancellation Policy: Payment is non-refundable unless the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong cancels the event. If you are unable to attend, cancellations must be received in writing 72 hours prior to the event. No shows will be charged.
