About the Event:

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) refers to the three central factors in measuring the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a business. The latest requirements of disclosure of ESG information, laid down by The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK), are intended to improve and enhance the standards of disclosure, as well as the ESG practices of listed companies.

We have lined up a panel of experts to walk you through these topics:

  • What is ESG
  • What are the ESG reporting requirements for HK listed companies
  • What is the impact of ESG reporting on the business community and how to report
  • How to educate the community on both the business impact and the social advantages; and
  • How to implement a sound ESG programme

This event will be the first session of the AustCham Baker Tilly Sustainability Series, which aims to inspire companies to adopt “achievable” sustainable practices that impact the wider community.
