ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Piers Brunner
Chief Executive Officer, Greater China, Knight Frank

Piers Brunner has 28 years of experience in the real estate industry, with 22 years in Asia. He is a Chartered Surveyor with a wealth of experience in valuation, consultancy, and agency services. He has a proven track record in major leasing and investment transactions. Piers leads Knight Frank’s Greater China Board while overseeing the operations of Knight Frank’s business in Greater China.  

Piers has run multi-disciplinary businesses in Indonesia, Hong Kong as well as Asia-wide corporate solutions with deep-rooted client connections in the region’s real estate sector. Prior to joining Knight Frank, Piers worked for Colliers for 20 years. Most recently, he was the Chief Executive Officer for Colliers’ Asia, managing 30 offices in 14 countries. 

 

Nicholas Bradstreet
Managing Director and Head of Leasing, Savills Hong Kong

Nicholas Bradstreet has over 33 years of experience and possesses a unique understanding of the retail market across Hong Kong and Asia Pacific.  During his time at Savills, he has been responsible for assisting some of the world’s biggest retail names to secure flagships in Hong Kong and the Region.  Apart from his role as Head of Leasing, overseeing the retail, office and residential teams, he also acts as a key contact between the Savills Asia regional offices and the London headquarter. 

The Hong Kong Retail Department under his leadership work on sole agency projects, both in Hong Kong and within the Asia region providing both leasing and consultancy advice. 

 

Jeremy Sheldon
Head of Markets, Asia Pacific, Jones Lang LaSalle Limited

Jeremy is the head of Markets APAC for JLL. He is responsible for the office leasing function across APAC. He reports to the APAC CEO and is on the JLL APAC board. In 2018 he took an additional responsibility and leadership of a regional business and sales “transformation” of JLL’s businesses. He has held minor NED role’s for a space start-up as well as starting 2 family businesses, based in the UK and more recently in HK. Jeremy’s interests are focused around his family with children based in the UK, a keen hiker, an aging “triathlete”, and a keen rugby supporter. He remains involved in the British Chamber as a the Vice Chairman and head of the Real estate committee, HK Club committee member and an active supporter of children’s sailing in Hebe Haven. 

 

Samuel Lai
Senior Director, Advisory & Transaction Services – Industrial & Logistics Services, Hong Kong, CBRE

Samuel Lai is responsible for managing the Advisory & Transaction Services – Industrial & Logistics business in Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in transacting industrial properties, mega size warehouses leasing and project marketing. Samuel is well regarded as a leader in the local market for his dedication and professionalism.
Samuel continues to be a role model for real estate agents in the sector, and his achievements have gone a long way to helping the team receive wider industry recognition. CBRE’s Industrial team has been awarded the RICS Hong Kong Award for Industrial Team of the Year from 2012-2015 and the Goodman Leasing Deal of the Year 2014/5.

Nigel Smith
Managing Director, Colliers International

As Managing Director of Colliers InternationaI, Nigel is responsible for the strategic direction of the Hong Kong business, to lead the growth and diversification initiatives and develop leadership talent. He oversees all service lines as well as shared services including investment sales, office leasing, strata-title sales, project management, retail leasing, industrial property leasing, residential leasing and sales, valuation and advisory, research, marketing and communications, human resources and finance. Nigel is also a member of the Colliers International Asia Leadership team.
