About the Event

Join Stephen Yim Fai Chau to explore the evolution of men's business wear attire, and the concomitant changes in consumer behaviour trends towards shopping.
This is an opportunity to learn about the foundation and birth of formal wear in the middle ages, and it's journey to the 21st century model of mass produced suits and shirts that dominate online and warehouse stores. With market places and tailoring shops once being the sole area of purchasing formal wear, Stephen Chau explores the multiple channels of retailing ranging from department/chain stores to virtual shopping, an entire market just a click away on your mobile phones. He then merges the old and new models of men's retail to talk about the world of custom, made-to-wear digital shopping markets, and the changes this convenience has transpired in consumer behaviour.
