Currently, Hong Kong hosts 300,000 Canadians, making it the city with the largest Canadian population outside of Canada. Within that number, at least 10%* of that population has relocated or is relocating back to Canada to evade the high cost of living, the increasing influence of China in Hong Kong and other circumstances. With the growing number of individuals and families choosing to move back to Canada, it is important to equip ourselves with all the relocation insights and information prior to making the big move.

This panel discussion will feature experts in relocation between Hong Kong and Canada, who can address all your concerns about relocation. Topics ranging from schooling, real estate, transportation and tax issues will be addressed in this interactive session.

This event aims to give those who are interested in relocating to Canada, an open space to interact amongst one another and ask questions to our expert panelist of speakers.

Our expert speakers will discuss:

  • Transportation, logistics, schooling and the home search process
  • Tax complications that may arise
  • Immigration issues
  • The experience of relocation and the associated culture change
