Recap – Canada Day 2019 Reception

CanChamHK was excited to be invited to last night’s Canada Day 2019 Reception which was hosted by the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong! As part of the celebration, we set up a trivia table to test true Canadian knowledge for a chance to win some exciting prizes – do you know how many hockey teams there are in Canada?

They even invited a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to represent an iconic symbol of Canada!

The event was filled with Canadian spirit and highlighted the exchange of people and cultures, which continues to strengthen the relations between Canada and the world. The evening included a recap from Jeff Nankivell, traditional Chinese drumming, singing the Canadian and Hong Kong national anthem, cake cutting and tasty food.
