What is the Canadian Chamber of Commerce?

As the largest Canadian business association of its kind outside of Canada, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong exists to promote the interests of its members and foster trade and investment between Canada, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Is the Chamber only for Canadians?

Anyone interested in making new business contacts and developing business opportunities will benefit from active membership in the Chamber, Canadians and non-Canadians alike.

Is the Chamber funded by the Canadian Government?

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is an independent, non-governmental business association that maintains close ties with the appropriate government departments and trade agencies both in Canada, Hong Kong and elsewhere. Funding for the Chamber is provided mainly through membership fees.

Why should I join?

To become part of the largest Canadian business organization outside of Canada and one of Hong Kong's most engaged communities of companies and professionals.

What will I be required to do?

Membership with our Chamber does not entail obligations on your part. However, members who get the most from our association are those that put the most in.
