The Ivey Consortium Executive (ICE) Program and Accelerating Management Talent (AMT) Program are two well-established and popular examples of Ivey’s Consortium Programs conducted at our Hong Kong campus.

The AMT program increases the business unit leadership and strategic thinking skills of high-potential mid-level managers. Participants will gain a cross-functional perspective and learn the keys to effective execution of corporate or business strategy.

This 12-day program consists of 6 modules and is delivered over a 7-month period:

Elective Module: Executive Presence*
(February 26 – 27, 2018)

Target Audience

High-potential managers, technical professionals and functional specialists with 5-10 years of management experience. Participants are involved in the execution of organizational, business unit or functional area strategy.

* Participants will be conferred the consortium program certificate by Ivey Business School upon completing at least 4 modules of the ICE or AMT Program. In case of deferrals, participants are expected to complete all selected modules within two years. Dates are subject to final confirmation.

Developing an Executive Presence: Leading with Heart and Mind

February 26 – 27, 2018

This is an elective module that can be taken in conjunction with the Ivey Consortium Executive (ICE) Program and Accelerating Management Talent (AMT) Program.

This module is designed to offer you a practical overview of dynamics of executive presence and its importance in developing your leadership brand. The skills necessary to build trust and have “Executive Presence” are increasingly in demand as Hong Kong and Chinese companies and organizations expand into global markets. Moreover, in this session, we will introduce you to powerful storytelling techniques to help you to build trust, credibility, and influence to lead effectively.

Key Learning Objectives:

• Provide you with opportunities to develop skills in building trust, credibility, and influence throughout the organization.
• We will look at culturally driven applications of executive presence and examine practical insights between Asian and western or Non-Asian cultures.
• Provide an opportunity for you to use Storytelling as a platform to demonstrate/cultivate executive presence. You will participate in practical exercises with before/after video and individualized feedback.
• We will move beyond presentation skills development and work to hone our skills with the goal to align, engage, and inspire people to act.
