About the Event

People who have the opportunity to serve as mentors usually experience greater job satisfaction and a higher commitment to their employer. However, many employees have either never had a mentor, or companies do not have any mentorship programs in place. In addition to having corporate mentorship programs in place (either in a formal or informal structure), staff development programs have proven to help retain staff within an organization.

During this presentation, we will discuss various ways which organizations can develop, engage, and retain young talent through mentorship and education leveraging social and emotional learning. This talk aims to show how mentorship and staff training programs are essential for the success of organizations, and how both employer and employee benefit from this type of workplace relationship.
