About the Event

The use of drones around the world is expanding rapidly. Drone use in the video and TV/film industry is already well-established, but one of the fastest growing sectors is now commercial applications of land mapping, surveying, modelling and structural inspection.

While Chinese companies like DJI dominate the drone manufacturing sector, Europe and North America are leaders in adopting drones for a range of new service applications.

This event will explore this exciting new industry and the future opportunities with drone services.

Topics discussed will include:
  • What are the latest unmanned aerial vehicles and technologies used for advanced aerial data-capture?
  • How can drones be used to provide mapping and data for the architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, construction industries?
  • What are the regulatory requirements? What permits are required? What are theoperational parameters? What doesdrone pilot certification entail?
  • What are the other commercial and industrial applications?
