About the Event:
 
During this event organised by CanChamHK's Financial Services Committee, Ms. Zoe Zhang, co-founder and CEO of Golend.hk will provide an overview of the P2P and internet finance landscape in China and the impact these FinTech disruptors are having. She will focus not only on the incumbent financial institutions and the markets but also on the everyday lives of Chinese citizens. We will also discuss the future of these industries in China in light of the recent market turmoil and regulatory developments and the impact these changes will have on the P2P and internet finance ecosystem in the region.
 
About the Speaker:
Ms. Zoe Zhengfen Zhang
Co-founder & CEO, GoLend.hk

Ms. Zoe Zhang is the co-founder & CEO of GoLend.hk, the only secured P2P lending platform for both Hong Kong and mainland China. She is also the president of Hong Kong Internet Finance Association.

Zoe has over 7 years' experience in investment banking industry in both Europe and Asia. She started her career in Accenture and Logica in Paris in 2007, focusing on business consulting for different investment banks. She also worked in asset management within BNP Paribas in Paris before returning to Asia in early 2011. Zoe joined Societe Generale Hong Kong branch as a financial engineer in designing interest related derivatives and was relocated to Shanghai to develop cross border structured products. She then joined BNP Paribas CIB Consulting in Hong Kong for the implementation of growth strategy in Asia-Pacific region. In 2014, Zoe started her own business GoLend.hk to provide marketplace lending business. She aims to build a cross border P2P lending platform to match borrowers and investors in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. 

Zoe obtained double B.S. degrees in finance and management from Harbin Institute Technology and Lille I University, Master degree of financial engineering from Paris XII University, MBA degree from top Business School ESSEC (Paris) focusing on finance and real estate, during which, she was selected to be exchange student at Booth Business School at University of Chicago.
