About the Event:

The rapidly expanding tourism sector poses opportunities for innovation and product differentiation as more Chinese travel at home and abroad. To capture fickle travellers, the leisure, tourism and hospitality industry must subsequently adapt their business strategies to attract repeat customers. The new business model of all-in-one resort and shopping complexes created for full family entertainment seems to be the trend, but is this enough to retain customers?

Digital technology is playing an increasingly significant and disruptive role in shaping recent developments, enabling brands to interact with both existing and potential consumers. Pricing is no longer a key driver. Loyalty, funding, customer engagement, social media and mobile channels are increasing becoming the key success factors. In addition, new platforms such as Airbnb, Ctrip, Hotel.com and others are forcing Hospitality industry players to cope. Moreover, Data is increasingly rich and ripe for analysis. Customer-centric behaviours and delivering quality customer services to travellers and shoppers are no longer just nice but required.

How are leisure and hospitality industry players taking advantage of the new opportunities for growth in China? And what can companies do to cope with the onslaught of new digital technologies? Join us at this exciting panel discussion.
