About the Event:

While it is not mandatory in Hong Kong to provide health benefits to employees, it is the number one benefit employees and employers are interested in. Choosing the right SME group medical plan can be extremely challenging. Hong Kong's private healthcare sector is one of the most expensive in the world and insurance premiums are very high. Insurers can discriminate against employees' medical history and pre-existing conditions. And comparing different group plans is extremely complex as health insurance is scarcely regulated in Hong Kong and products are not standardized.

In this informative seminar, Amelie Dionne-Charest will share practical information and tips on choosing the SME group medical plan that matches your needs and budget.

• Medical history disregard
• Waiting time periods
• Reducing premium costs
• Community rated vs. experience rating
