Sun Life Financial and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong are proud to announceThe Sun Life Canadian Golf Tournament 2015. The Sun Life Canadian Golf Tournament will create opportunities for companies to showcase their brand, entertain key clients and meet their elite peers in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Sun Life Canadian Golf Tournament 2015 will be followed by a networking cocktail & awards presentation which will be open to golfers and non-golfers alike.

TournamentDetails and Contest:
Stroke Play with New New Peoria (NNP) Handicap System.
Net Score = Players Gross Score - Players Calculated Handicap
- Randomly select 12 holes
- Add up gross scores of the selected holes and multiply the sum by a factor of 1.5 to arrive at a NNP adjusted score.
- Thendeduct PARof the course from NNP adjusted score, and multiply the balance by a factor of 0.8. This will be the player’s NNP Handicap.
- To get the NNP Net Score, deductNNP Handicap fromthe player’s gross score for18 holes.
- Once the Net Scores of the players are obtained, the one with the lowest Net Score will be the champion
Local Club Rules and The Rules of Golf of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews will apply. For Speed of Play, players will kindly pick up the ball once maximum allowable strokes are reached. All scores should be marked in actual number of strokes and not '-1', '0', +1', and so forth.

- Closest to Pin = Hole #4 and #12
- Par 3 - Beat the Pro= Hole #17
- Closest to theCentreLine = Hole #13
Par 3 - Beat the Pro:
In the "Par 3 - Beat the Pro: Closest to the hole" contest, players can bid and attempt to beat the pro's tee-off shot on the par 3 17th hole. The objective is for the player's tee shot to stop "closer to the hole" than the pro's shot.Players who bid and are victorious against PGA Pro, James Robbins, will be entered into the final draw for 25% of the total wagered pot!
- Held on a par-3 hole #17.
- Betting amount of $100.
- Mulligans can be purchased for $100 on this hole.
- Draw and prizes are made at the prize presentation.
PGA of America Member, Full Member of HKPGA, Qualified Professional Golf Instructor since 1980
James Robbins has been a qualified professional golf instructor since 1980 and is a PGA of America Member as well as a Full Member of HKPGA. He was a medalist in the USPGA S.W. Section Qualifying in 1981 and in 1988 he was a record holder of -7 for the 9 holes course at Painted Mountain Golf Resort in Arizona. From 1980 – 1990 he taught in Scottsdale, Arizona, from 1990 – 2000 he taught at the John Jacobs Golf School, and from 2000 – 2010 he taught at the City Golf Club Hong Kong. His teaching venue is currently Tuen Mun Golf Centre.
Closest to the Centre Line:
In this contest, a chalk line is painted down the middle of the fairway.The objective is for the player's tee shot to come to a stop within 3 club lengths of the line, regardless of distance hit from the tee box. i.e. to his the ball down the middle of the fairway. Players who are within 3 club lengths will be entered into a final draw for 25% of the total pot.

Important information for attendees:
Please note thatthe golf course is strictly a walking course only. Therefore, no golf carts or other transportation, or golf trolley for clubs are allowed. Guests are required to carry their golf club bags. It is strongly recommended to use a light, carry-type golf bag.You may want to reserve a caddy early.Request for caddies on the day is not possible.
If you require a caddy the cost is $450 per caddy and a caddy may only accompany one person each. Please inform Ms. Janice IpatJanice.Ip@cancham.orgto reserve a caddy by3pm on Thursday, November 12th, 2015.Caddies are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If you are arriving at The Shek O Country Club via private car,please provide us with your license plate number. If you require coach service to arrive at the club, abus has been arranged to pick guests up at 10:30am at:

Dress Code and Cell phones:
- No jeans, flip-flops, or sandals.
- Gentlemen: shirts must be tucked into pants, collared shirts must be worn.
