About the Speakers:

Doris Lam

Senior Manager, Head of North America Desk , Hong Kong
Prior to joining Savills, Doris started her real estate career in Toronto, Canada. After spending eight years selling new construct, resale residential, and small commercial properties she moved to Hong Kong. Having spent a year with the Savills Regional Commercial Team, she is now with the Savills International Residential Team. Her current role brings her North American experience to the team while working with builders, industry peers, and sell North American new development in Asia.


Gareth Hart
Gareth joined Colliers International in 1996 and with over 19 years’ experience in the sale and leasing of investment grade international residential property in London UK, Australia, Hong Kong and throughout South East Asia, he has unrivalled knowledge of overseas property markets. He has represented many leading global developers and successfully marketed over 100 projects in Hong Kong to Colliers International’s clients.

Over the past 12 years, Gareth has been a primary driver for the International Properties business for Colliers International and his experiencecovers all sectors of the industry, from managing new home sales departments through to working on pricing for new developments throughout London.


Martina Hui

Having lived in Australia for 15 years, Martina has great understanding and knowledge of Australia as well as its market conditions. Coupled with her professional experience in real estate, as well as her qualification in Master of Social Science, she is able to provide clear financial metrics that dissects return on investment for her clients and also on the development projects she has worked on.


Sam Van Horebeek

Sam Van Horebeek is the Managing Director of East-West Property Advisors - a US real estate advisory firm based in China and Hong Kong. Sam has over 14 years of advisory experience in the financial services and real estate industry. After living in the US for many years, he is now based in Hong Kong and is advising clients across Asia on investment opportunities in the US property market. He has been featured in Forbes, Shanghai Times, iMoney, Bloomberg and other media as a specialist on US real estate and assisting US property investors who are based in Asia.
