Hong Kong's reputation as a renowned international business and financial centre has provided a launching ground for entrepreneurs and a platform for overseas business expansion into China and Asia. Amongst those who have contributed to this success are Canadian entrepreneurs who have launched or expanded their business in Hong Kong.

To continue building upon this entrepreneurial spirit to encourage Canadians to use Hong Kong as a platform to expand their business eastward, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (CanChamHK) and the HKCBA would like to invite you to our Joint Conference on November 30, 2015.

Target Audience

Entrepreneurs and different industries and companies of different sizes including the micro and small enterprises (MSEs), Canadian companies in Hong Kong: both large and small; both longstanding and start-up.

The Conference will act as a bridge, introducing members to experts and professionals who can provide the business intelligence they seek. We also work closely with organizations such as the Canadian Consulate, Invest Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in order to expand our network to generate more opportunities for our members.

The Second Conference will continue to strengthen the transpacific ties between the Canadian Chamber and HKCBA. In particular, our missions are to help our members conduct business between Canada and Hong Kong and to encourage Canadian companies to utilize Hong Kong as their business “Smart Link” to China and the rest of the region. Together, we can make both Hong Kong and Canada stronger, more competitive and more connected to each other.

Program Highlights

The Conference will offer a broad range of discussions focusing on how companies, including MSEs (Micro and Small Enterprises), have set up and succeeded in Hong Kong. Panel discussions also include resources available to help Canadian companies do business in Hong Kong.
