1. What changes could we see in the business environment due to the exponential improvements in Technology over the next 10- 20 years?
2. What does hyper-connectivity mean for business?
Following short opening presentations from our two keynote speakers, there will be an engaging panel discussion including an interactive Q&A session. The purpose of the briefing is to encourage debate amongst the Hong Kong international chamber community on the key changes forecast to take place in the business environment, and what these changes will mean for firms operating in Hong Kong.
About the Keynote Speakers:

Kevin Taylor, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa & Turkey
Kevin is responsible for BT’s business and operations across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa & Turkey and Eastern Mediterranean region. In this role he is a member of the BTGS global leadership team. Kevin joined BT as Vice President – Global Solutions in December 2003. In that role, he was responsible for the delivery and management of the portfolio of IP infrastructure/WAN, mobility, CRM, conferencing, security, outsourcing and other products, services and solutions BT offered customers across the Asia Pacific region. Earlier in his career, he had worked with Data Sciences Corporation (now part of IBM), CFM (Part of ICL) and Capita Group. Kevin also spent six years with global consulting company, James Martin & Co., where he held a variety of positions including President and COO International – Europe and Asia Pacific, Global Head of Sales and Head of Offshore Development.
About the Panelist:
Dr. Po Chi Wu, Adjunct Professor at HKUST & Venture Capitalist
Adjunct Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Dr. Po Chi Wu leads educational programs in innovation and entrepreneurship for undergraduates, master’s degree candidates and corporate executives. A highly successful international venture capitalist and entrepreneur in both the United States and Asia, he brings a unique perspective with more than 30 years of experience with the challenges of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Wu’s career began in late 1985, when he was invited to establish the venture capital arm of what is currently the China Development Industrial Bank in Taiwan. He went on to become a partner at Advent International Corporation in the Silicon Valley where he managed investments in Asia and the US; co-founder and president of Allegro Capital; and co-founder and managing director of DragonBridge Capital which focused on early-stage technology companies in China. With a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, Dr. Wu is a seasoned speaker who has given keynotes at major international conferences in Asia, Europe and the US.
