Shanthi has close to 30 years of commercial HR experience and an exceptional track record of improving organizations, by supporting corporate acquisitions, heading up change programs, recruiting, training and developing individuals and teams, up to board level. She has led in start-up teams, fast growth, downsizing small, medium and large enterprises.

Shanthi worked for Ford Motor Company in the UK for 10 years and focused on succession planning, organization development, and union negotiations. She was then at the Boots Company for 7 years. Her last role was Head of HR – International FMCG Healthcare and Retail. She then served as Group International HR Director for A S Watson Group based in Hong Kong for 3 years. Prior to founding her Strategic Leadership Consultancy Company she spent nearly 5 years as the SVP HR of Walmart Asia, as a key partner on the Strategic Executive team reporting to the CEO, responsible for China, Japan, India and Hong Kong, with over 20bn USD in revenues and 150,000 employees. She has sat on 5 Business Executive Leadership Teams. She currently serves as the Chair of the HR Committee, American Chamber of Commerce Board Mentor, Criticaleye Asia.
