Joe is a partner of Tax Policy & Controversy Team in Hong Kong, specializing in resolving tax audits and disputes in particular long outstanding complicated cases as well as anti-tax avoidance cases for clients.

Before joining EY, Joe started his career in working at various units of the Inland Revenue Department. Joe is very familiar with the IRD’s policies, practice and procedures. Throughout over 20 years of tax experience in assisting clients, Joe has already developed various strategic approaches and is equipped with the insight of finding a proper timing and window in resolving tax audit and dispute cases.

With his solid experience, Joe manages to resolve tax audit and dispute cases for clients ranging from small and medium sized business to multinational conglomerates operating in various industries such as general trading, sourcing, manufacturing, property investment and financial services.
