About the Event:

Resource nationalism is becoming one of the most important issues facing energy companies.  The new issue is not merely knowing that the underlying resource exists, or knowing if it is profitable, but how do you get access to it or how do you maintain access under the terms and conditions you desire?  This is an even more important issue for companies in Asia as many are controlled, supported or influenced by the government.  Even the ones that are not may be viewed as influenced by the government.  As a result, this is going to pose investment constraints and challenges for Asian companies.

This seminar will discuss more on this trend and will provide you with:

  • Our perspective of current trends so that companies can revisit their business development strategies
  • Outline a few strategies that companies can do to address this
