About the Event:
The Financial Services Committee would like to invite you to an evening of discussion, idea sharing and networking with other members of the Canadian Financial Community of Hong Kong.
In a pioneering move in 2008, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board ("CPPIB"), chose Hong Kong as the destination for its first international office. Reflecting their conviction and commitment to the long term growth story in Asia, CPPIB's portfolio spans a range of investments in the region from public equities and hedge funds, to private equity, infrastructure and real estate.
Ted Lee, an industry veteran in Asia and Senior Portfolio Manager at CPPIB, and Peter Chen, Head of Business Development APAC at CPPIB will share their views on compelling investment opportunities in the region. Ted will offer his perspective on the evolution of the Asian hedge fund industry from its nascent stage, to the present day and beyond. Peter will provide more color on CPPIB's investment philosophy, global portfolio and their plans for the coming years in Asia.
The mission of the Financial Services Committee is to become the premier forum for members of the financial services community of Hong Kong by bringing together members of the broad financial services industry of Hong Kong, including the asset management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, wholesale and retail banking, wealth management, and insurance industries.
We look forward to seeing you all at our event!
