About the Event:

A Road Side Air Pollution Panel discussion featuring key government decision makers, concerned companies, and influential NGOs. In connection with the significant measures announced in the Chief Executive's January policy address, we believe this discussion, while as relevant as always, may be undertaken in an environment of great momentum. Specifically, we want to find out how new measures translate into business opportunities for the international business, and what the potential obstacles are.

About the Panelists:

Christine Loh, Under Secretary for the Environment, HKSAR Government

The former CEO of non-profit, public policy think-tank Civic Exchange, Ms. ChristineLoh was appointed Under Secretary for the Environment in September 2012. Prior to foundingCivic Exchange in 2000, Ms. Loh spent nearly a decade as a politician and member of the Legislative Council (1992-97 and 1998-2000). A lawyer by training, shehas held senior regional positions in commodities trading, as well as project negotiation, and has founded or served on NGO boardsdealing with a broad range ofissues, from environmental protection to urban planning and equal opportunity.

Nick Leach, Director Buses & Coaches Asia, Scania.

Nick Leach has an engineering background and has worked for the Swedish heavy vehicle manufacturer, Scania, for 36 years where he has gained a high level of expertise. As well as time spent in the Scania Head Office in Sweden, he has managed their Bus and Coach Division in the UK, held the position of Marketing Director in South Africa, and been responsible for Scania's activities in Queensland, Australia. He is currently based in Hong Kong as the Director for Vehicle SalesSupportin the Asian Region.

Evan Auyang, Deputy Managing Director, The Kowloon Motor Bus Company

Evan Auyang is the Deputy Managing Director ofThe Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1993) Limited ("KMB") and Long Win bus Company Limited ("LWB"). He is also an Executive Director of the board of directors for Transport International Holdings - KMB and LWB's parent company listed in Hong Kong with transportation businesses in Mainland China. He is a Board member of the American Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as the Chairman of its Environmental Steering Group. Prior to joining KMB and LWB in 2009, Mr. Auyang was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, focusing on transportation and logistics.

SumYin Kwong, CEO of Clean Air Network (CAN)

She first joined CAN in mid-2009 in the position of Campaign Manager. Prior to being part of the CAN team, she worked at Radio Television Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Home Affairs Department. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and her master's at the University of Hong Kong and her master's at the University of Oxford. Sum is passionate about the environment and sustainability and, most recently, published a well-received book on environmentally-friendly lifestyles, titled "Pale Green Living".
