About the Event:

Awarded with "CEO of the Year" by Capital CEO Magazine, Paul Salnikow, Chairman & CEO of The Executive Centre has been well-recognized as a successful entrepreneur. Over the last two decades, Paul, a New Yorker, turned a background of being a property fund manager for a Saudi-backed investment group in Hong Kong into running a premium serviced office business in Asia Pacific. At the time when his business began, the concept of serviced office was non-existent in Asia. Today, The Executive Centre is the world's fifth largest serviced office business with annual turnover in excess of US$100 million, operating 1 million square feet of office space across 50 centres in 10 countries.

Running The Executive Centre was not all smooth sailing. His business was challenged during the prolonged economic downturn brought on by a succession of crises including the collapse of the energy giant Enron, the September 11 terrorist attacks, and the bursting of the dotcom bubble.

Despite the challenges and hardships, inspired by a set of beliefs, he continued to grow his business and has successfully built the empire of "Premium Serviced Offices" serving the business interests of multinational corporations, small and medium enterprises, and start-ups locally, regionally and internationally.

Come and learn the secret of his success.

  • How did he get into the serviced office business and why did he think at the time that it was a good idea?
  • What were the challenges and how did he overcome them?
  • How did he strategize his business for growth?
  • What kind of risks does he need to manage in current robust serviced office industry?
  • What are the set of beliefs he has been upholding?
  • What keeps him passionate about what he is doing?
  • What are his business objectives for the next 5 years and what is his long-term vision for the company?
