June 16, 2017, 12:30-14:00
Banker's Club, 43/F, Gloucester Tower, 15 Queen's Road Central

Interest in Sustainable and Impact Investing  has grown substantially from private and institutional investors.  Evidence shows that the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies currently account for approximately USD $22.9 trillion in managed assets worldwide, up from USD $13.3tn in 2012. Consequently, investment professionals are increasingly expected to demonstrate their awareness of how these ESG factors affect company and portfolio financial performance.

Similarly, recent studies show that if banks integrate sustainability criteria in their risk assessment and decision making processes, they will strengthen their financial soundness and improve systematic financial stability, while contributing to a more ecologically sustainable world.
