About the Event CMA BC HK Branch and Canadian Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to a seminar on Managing
Private Equity Investments & Enforcing Risk Management in China.

On private
equity investment, the speaker is a seasoned investment strategist stationed in China with hand on experience, from identifying investment opportunities to grooming it to maturity stage for listing. His insights in managing PE is particularly interesting
in face of the slow-down in demand in US capital market of IPO listing from Chins′s investments. The second speaker is a well experienced risk management professional from one of the big-4 assurance
providers. He is stationed in China and observes how multinationals and major Chinese firms manage risk and their internal controls for investments in China. He will discuss evolution of risk management, introduction of ERM framework, KPMG′s
risk management methodology, case studies for rolling out an effective risk management system, and proactive risk management.

Mr. Kong
is the Senior Vice President of China Hand Fund Management LLC, a Private Equity Fund focusing on opportunities in Mainland China. In the past 3 years, the fund has invested over 500 million USD in China and has several successful IPOs outside China.
Mr. Kong is a seasoned international business executive with more than 20 years of experience in China, Hong Kong, Europe and North America. Mr. Kong has held senior positions with multinationals including the Chief Representative
and Business Development Director for Orange Business Services in China, helping Orange Business Services to develop its service portfolios in China, and the Managing Director of SITA Greater China\u65292 ?the world′s leading provider of global
information technology and telecommunications solutions to the air transport and related industries. Furthermore, Mr. Kong was the General Manager of InfoSky in Beijing; the joint venture company between SITA and TravelSky, providing information services
to air transportation industry in China. In the 1980′s, Mr. Kong was with Cathay Pacific Airways in the capacity of Senior System Specialist.
Due to his extensive international exposure within the last
20 years Mr. Kong has established extensive connections, from academics in leading universities to senior management in government officials in China and investment experience esp PE and JV.

) in China and Hong Kong.
Michael is well-versed in KPMG′s risk-based internal audit methodology and has considerable experience in addressing corporate governance, risk management and internal audit
issues and advising on internal control matters. He has extensive experience in serving KPMG′s global clients and has experience in many industries including industrial and consumer markets. His professional knowledge and business acumen is key
to securing various internal audit engagements in our Risk Consulting practice.
His recent risk consulting projects included: Internal audit strategic outsourcing and co-sourcing projects, assisting to establish
internal audit departments (including strategies, internal audit mandates, audit plans and reviews), assisting listed companies to comply with the Basic Standards | Enterprise Risk and Controls, Sarbanes-Oxley S404 and/or Stock Exchange of Hong
