Will cross-border employees give rise to corporate tax problems?
Corporations should not forget possible corporate tax(es) obligations and risks in a host country as
a result of improper planning and management of cross-border employee arrangements. This workshop will address and discuss following issues:
* What are possible China corporate tax risks arising from frequently visiting employees and
secondees? * What is meant by Permanent Establishment ("PE")? * When will a non-resident company be taxed as a Chinese resident company on its worldwide income? * How to mitigate or manage related corporate tax risks?
* What to plan ahead with Double Taxation Agreement/ Arrangement?
