World Ocean Day 2010: An opportunity to consciously reflect on our connection with the Earth′s oceans
Millions of people around the globe celebrate World Ocean Day,
founded by Canadian environmental legend, David Suzuki, and now officially recognized by the United Nations.
Please join Ecovision and The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong for an interactive lunch panel discussion with some of the
world′s leading ocean conservation experts, who will address global marine issues and present local solutions.
The Hong Kong International Coastal Cleanup, now celebrating its 10th anniversary year, has engaged over 20,000 people in
cleaning more than 100,000 kg of trash off Hong Kong′s beautiful beaches. Guests at the lunch will have the opportunity to join the action and make a difference by signing up a team.
