Raising the CSR Agenda
While the global economy was taking its worst battering in a generation, many working toward corporate social responsibility (CSR) feared that efforts
would be reversed. That hasn't happened. CSR is becoming a wider corporate trend with many more companies now reporting on their sustainability efforts.
Against this backdrop The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is publishing the 2nd
edition of Corporate Social Responsibility at a Glance | A Guide for Busy Managers and holding a series of events to address the Why? and How? of CSR.

· Kathleen Slaughter, President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Dean of the Richard Ivey School of Business / Asia.

Martha Grossman, Asia General Manager of RepuTex, research consultant on the Hang Seng Indexes project to launch a sustainable companies index series covering Hong Kong and China.
· Michael Huddart, Executive Vice President
and Chief Executive Officer of Manulife International
Panel Discussion:
Richard Welford, Chairman of CSR Asia, and Tony Wines, CEO of Turnkey Consulting, will join the keynote for a discussion moderated by Jonathan
Cheng, Hong Kong Correspondent of The Wall Street Journal.
A cocktail party will be held after the panel to celebrate the launch of CSR at a Glance.
