How to Communicate More Effectively in Your Daily Business Correspondence
by Using Information Design:

This Workshop is designed specifically to help participants to:
a) Structure information in a logical
sequence in business correspondence so that it is Coherent and Cohesive and
b) Write in ′Plain Language′ i.e. language, for example, in an e-mail or letter, that the reader can read, understand and act upon after reading it for
the FIRST TIME.
c) Plan, Organise, Draft, Revise, and Edit their own writing by following the Five Step Writing Process; and
d) Improve their Accuracy, Layout, Tone, Style and (Grammar, where necessary, through focused self-study)
in their Business Correspondence, in particular in e-mails, letters and reports.
The Workshop is conducted by an experienced Applied Linguist (specialising in Discourse Analysis), who is a native speaker of English.
The Workshop
will take place over a six week period with one session of three hours per week.
Successful candidates will be issued with a Certificate of Achievement (Also based on attendance).
