Follow the footsteps of Roger Moore to visit Ho Fat's Mansion in Dragon Garden. This Grade II heritage site in the New Territories was the film location from James Bond's "Man
with the Golden Gun". It made the news again in 2006, when Cynthia Lee (grand daughter of the late creator) made a public appeal to save the garden from being sold to a developer. She will personally take us on a guided tour of this amazing landscaped
garden with Chinese Renaissance buildings, which is a true "urban oasis." You will have a rare glimpse into Hong Kong in the 1950s and 60s and be treated to a hidden treasure that you never knew existed in Hong Kong. Cynthia is keen to interface with
the community to gather support for a sustainable cultural tourism and management plan to open Dragon Garden to the public in the future. Towards this endeavor, she made a special trip to Victoria, B.C. to visit the beautiful gardens and study their management
models!
Part of the proceeds will be contributed to The Dragon Garden Charitable Trust to help preserve cultural and heritage assets in Hong Kong for public benefit.
