Recent market data shows that an increasing number of PRC based companies are expanding overseas, often using Hong Kong as a stepping stone. This new trend offers new and interesting opportunities
for Hong Kong based businesses. During this luncheon, Ms Victoria Tang, Associate Director-General of Invest HK, will present recent data and trends with regards to PRC companies going overseas and explain why and how they are using Hong Kong as a starting
point. She will also explain how Hong Kong based businesses can tap those PRC companies and how Invest HK can help them on these business development efforts.

SPEAKER
Miss Victoria Tang joined Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) in May 2009 as Associate Director-General of
Investment Promotion responsible for overseeing the investment promotion programme on the Mainland. Miss Tang also looks after the Investment Promotion Units, within the four Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices on the Mainland, responsible for providing
services and support to Mainland companies to set up or expand their business presence in Hong Kong.
Miss Tang has served in a number of policy bureaux and departments after joining the Hong Kong Government. Miss Tang has worked in the Financial
Services Branch, Security Branch, Health and Welfare Bureau and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Washington. Prior to her current appointment, she has worked in the Home Affairs Department responsible for matters relating to the promotion of
district administration.
Miss Tang graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences. She also holds a degree in Master of Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong.
